“And He (Allah) inspired it (the soul) with its wickedness and its righteousness. Successful is he who purifies it. Ruined is he who corrupts it.” Ash-Shams[91:7-10]
Each day we battle with the good and evil within ourselves, we try to follow the good on most days but we fall into the trap of evil on others. The struggle is real, especially due to the fluctuation of our faith in God. How do we protect ourselves from our own wickedness? How do we purify our soul? Can we reach a level of piety where we no longer give in to the evil in us?
Come and join Ustazah Nadia Hanim as she discusses the wisdom behind the creation of good and evil within us.
