Assistant Executive Officer (Bookshop)
JOB SUMMARY:
To manage and plan Darul Arqam’s English Islamic Bookshop (EIB) in terms of its operations, sales, products & services while providing excellent customer service to both external and internal customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Store Operations, Cashier Counter, Zakat and Donation collections in Bookshop
- Manage The Online Bookstore
- Plan, Manage & Negotiate with Local Vendor & Supplier
- Plan & Manage Bookshop Promotions Activities
- Manage Logistics & Processing Matters for International and Local Supplier
- Generate Purchase Requisition Form and Processing of Invoices
- Manage Inter-Department Transfer (IDT) Processing & Inventory
- Manage Returning Defective Goods & Items for International Suppliers
- Outreach and Events
- Sales Report, Income and Expenses
- Establish New Network of Suppliers, Vendors, Collaborators and Resellers
- Any Other Ad-hoc Matters as Assigned by HOD and/or management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A Minimum Diploma in Business/Retail Management
- Knowledge of SAP Business One
- Strong interest and knowledge on Islamic book titles and trend
- Possess entrepreneurial principles and practices
- Experience in visual merchandising and presentation
- Possess excellent customer service delivery and engagement
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Able to work flexibly on weekdays and weekends
