Breaking The Silence

  • Date: Saturday, 19 August 2023

Family / domestic violence is not private and should not happen behind closed doors or anywhere. It is not a trivial issue, and it has crippled family cohesiveness and robbed children of their innocent childhood, thus depriving them of a promising future.

In any relationship, regardless of age, education, culture, religion, or socioeconomic status, abuse can happen even without anyone realizing it when there is an imbalance of power dynamics.

Unpack and learn what family/domestic violence is all about;
• myths vs. the facts,
• contributing factors
• signs and symptoms,
• available resources.

Whether you are the victim, survivor, the person who caused harm, or someone who has witnessed abuse, know your rights to seek help and how you can offer support safely.

FREE FOR ALL!!
