EXECUTIVE OFFICER – COUNSELLOR, CONVERTS' CARE AND SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be attached to the Converts’ Care and Social Services Division (CCSS) and your responsibilities include the following:

Conduct Marital Counselling for Muslim couples referred by Syariah Court

Liaise with Syariah Court and administer its related matters

Organize and coordinate talks and workshops under the Counselling unit

Budgeting for the services provided under the Counselling unit

Approving officer for financial assistance related matters

Assist in CCSS’s other programs and workshops

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Diploma preferably in Counselling or Degree in Social Work/Counselling from a recognized university or professional institution recognized by the Singapore Association for Counselling.
At least 3 years of counselling experience which includes 2 years of counselling experience in dealing with Muslim couples undergoing marital issues and divorce.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in Malay language (in addition to English) to attend to clients who do not speak English
