IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all IT-related activities within the Association. This includes managing IT team, ensuring the reliability and security of IT systems, and aligning technology strategies with the company's business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• IT Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the Association's business objectives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance business processes.
• Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of IT professionals, including network administrators, systems administrators, and support staff.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
• Network and Systems Management:
- Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, servers, and systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and system issues, implementing solutions as needed.
• Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and practices to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
•Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the IT department's budget, including hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and licensing.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet the organization's technology needs effectively.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and provide solutions.
• Project Management:
- Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in the event of a system failure or disaster.
• User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
Offer training and documentation to help employees effectively use IT resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Preferably with CCNA, MCSE, and Microsoft Azure Certification
- Proven experience in IT management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven IT project/outsourcing management/IT Service Management and team leadership skills.
