Senior Management Support Officer - Purchaser
JOB SUMMARY:
The Management Support Officer – Purchaser is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing all the Association's purchasing activities. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure efficient procurement and distribution of goods and services. This is accomplished by establishing and rationalizing important supplier relationships, identifying new opportunities, and actively finding and implementing ways to increase efficiencies while maintaining adherence to established standards and processes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. PROCUREMENT
- Establish and rationalise Key Supplier Agreements, identify new opportunities, seek ways to improve efficiencies and ensure purchasing compliance.
- Evaluation of quotations
- Selection of Vendor
- Issuance of Purchase Order
- Evaluation of New/Existing Vendor
- Maintenance of Approved Vendors List
2. ZAKAT RAMADAN PROJECT (Promotional Material)
- Provide administrative support in the Zakat Collection during Ramadan
- To update the Zakat database
- Production of Zakat Brochure and Flyers
- Production of Banner
- Zakat Appreciation gift for donor
- Assist in Amil day-end close
3. FUND RAISING EVENTS
- Assist in conducting research and creating attractive fundraising proposals
- Assist on overseeing numerous communications and fundraising initiatives, from strategy development to enhancing the Association's profile through multiple media and events.
- Assists with a variety of communications projects and spearheads the establishment of a fundraising drive.
- Assist in the engagement and care of donors
- Zakat Appreciation gift for donor
- Assist in creating campaign fundraising materials
4. DONATION BOX COUNT – AS A WITNESS
- To observe the weekly collecting and cash count for mobile and stationary donation boxes.
- Ensure that all portable containers are logged and returned as requested.
- Ensure two Finance staff are present for the counting of the donation boxes.
- To record the entry and exit of the mobile boxes.
5. ANY OTHER AD-HOC PROJECTS
