Course Synopsis

Introduction to Quranic Literacy is a comprehensive one-year program divided into two six-months modules. Designed for individuals with no prior Quranic knowledge, this course provides a solid foundation in Quranic Phonetics and Tajweed, enabling participants to read the Quran accurately and beautifully.

Course Structure

Module 1: Quranic Phonetics

Focus: Learn the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters and sounds
Objectives:

Improve pronunciation of Arabic letters

Gain confidence in reading the Quran fluently and accurately

Module 2: Quranic Tajweed

Focus: Deepen understanding of Tajweed rules and their application in Quran recitation.
Objectives:

Apply Tajweed rules to improve recitation quality.

Recite the Quran with proper intonation and rhythm.

Develop a strong foundation for advanced Quranic studies.

Course Objectives

To educate participants on the basic rulings of recitation.

To guide participants in reciting the Quran with proper Tajweed.

Preparatory course for future Certificate/Diploma in Quranic Studies.
