Beginners' Course on Islam - Express (BCX)
Covering the same contents as BCI within 2 weeks, this offers flexibility especially for visitors on a short stay in Singapore and for those who are unable to attend the regular BCI sessions.
Intended as a follow-up to Knowing Islam, BCX covers the fundamentals of Islam based on our recommended text, ‘Essence of Islam’. It conducts a visit to the mosque where participants receive a demonstration of mosque etiquette.
Recommended pre-requisites
Students should have attended our Knowing Islam Session before coming for this class.
Language
All BCI Classes are conducted in English. We also conduct classes in Mandarin & Pilipino Languages
Topics Include:
- The essence of Muslims belief system (the 6 Articles of Faith)
- Life as a Muslim (understanding and observing the 5 Pillars of Islam
- Understanding Ihsan and it’s importance
