Executive Officer (IT) - Corporate Affairs Division

Join Our Team!

Are you passionate about technology, problem-solving and providing reliable IT support? Do you enjoy keeping systems running smoothly, resolving technical challenges and helping people work more effectively through technology?

Join the Muslim Converts’ Association of Singapore (MCAS) and play an important role in supporting our IT operations, strengthening digital capabilities and ensuring secure, reliable technology services that enable the Association to serve the community effectively.

Your Role

As an Executive Officer – IT, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to staff and authorised users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network and system-related issues.
  • Respond promptly to IT incidents, prioritise issues according to their operational impact, escalate critical disruptions in a timely manner and ensure proper resolution and documentation.
  • Manage user accounts, access requests and routine IT administration.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of servers, endpoints, networks and other IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct routine health checks and support infrastructure upgrades.
  • Assist with cybersecurity measures, software patching, vulnerability remediation, backup monitoring and restoration testing.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers to resolve operational issues and follow up on service requests.
  • Maintain IT asset inventories, software licences, technical documentation and operational records.
  • Support the development and updating of IT standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Assist in the implementation, testing and deployment of IT systems, digital solutions and automation initiatives.
  • Provide technical and logistical support for digital programmes, events and other technology-related activities when required.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Has at least 3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in technical support, systems administration or IT operations.
  • Possesses hands-on experience in Windows desktop and endpoint support, Microsoft 365 administration, basic networking, user access management, cybersecurity practices and backup monitoring. Familiarity with Windows Server and cloud-based environments would be an advantage.
  • Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
  • Is familiar with IT incident management, asset management, technical documentation and vendor coordination.
  • Is organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Communicates clearly and provides responsive, professional and user-focused IT support.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability and a willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical competencies.
  • Works well independently and collaboratively with colleagues, vendors and stakeholders across different functions.
  • Upholds integrity, professionalism and confidentiality when handling systems, information and user data.
  • Is committed to supporting digitalisation, operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the Association.
  • Willingness to provide occasional IT support outside normal office hours during organisational events and critical activities.

Why Join Us?

At MCAS, your work goes beyond IT support.

You will help build the reliable and secure digital foundations that empower our team to serve the community, support our converts and advance a meaningful mission. Every system you maintain, every problem you solve and every improvement you contribute helps our Association work better and serve more effectively.

If you are ready to put your technical skills to meaningful use, grow your capabilities and make a difference through technology, we would love to hear from you.

We offer a remuneration package that will be commensurate with your qualification/s and experience. All new employees will be appointed on a contract basis.
