Key Responsibilities

As an Education Officer, you will support the planning, delivery, and enhancement of educational programmes for diverse learners. Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research and providing academic support on issues relating to Muslim converts.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of educational programmes, including children and youth classes.
  • Assisting in curriculum development, learning resources, and programme evaluation.
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme implementation.
  • Supporting outreach, communications, and participant engagement efforts.
  • Assisting with programme administration, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, Theology, or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • Registered under the Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS) Tier 1, or eligible for registration.
  • At least 1 year of teaching or educational programme experience.
  • Strong grounding in Islamic sciences and their application within Singapore's multicultural context.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Added Advantages

  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or programme evaluation.
  • Familiarity with contemporary teaching approaches and blended learning.
  • Experience in youth development, workshops, or community engagement programmes.
  • Knowledge of Singapore's Islamic education landscape.
  • Proficiency in design and multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

We offer a remuneration package that will be commensurate with your qualification/s and experience. All new employees will be appointed on a contract basis.
