About The Role

As the Officer (Membership & Volunteer Management), you will play a key role in supporting MCAS' volunteer and membership initiatives. You will coordinate the volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention, while managing membership administration to ensure a positive experience for volunteers and members. You will also oversee the Educational Bursary Programme and support the implementation of initiatives that strengthen volunteer management through technology and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end volunteer lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement and recognition.
  • Maintain volunteer records, track volunteer hours, and prepare reports.
  • Administer membership services, including database management, membership communications and reporting.
  • Manage the Educational Bursary Programme, from application processing to award ceremony coordination.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with organisational policies.
  • Support departmental projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum Diploma from local polytechnic or other relevant recognized institutions.
  • Experience in volunteer management, programme coordination or community engagement is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and discreet in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about serving the community and making a meaningful difference.

We offer a remuneration package that will be commensurate with your qualification/s and experience. All new employees will be appointed on a contract basis.
