Job Overview
As a Financial Assistance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting individuals and families facing financial challenges. You will assess applications, recommend appropriate assistance, and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial aid. Working closely with beneficiaries and community partners, you will help connect those in need with meaningful support while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess financial assistance applications through interviews and verification of supporting documents.
- Evaluate clients' circumstances and recommend suitable assistance schemes.
- Process and administer approved financial assistance disbursements accurately and promptly.
- Maintain accurate client records, case notes, and database entries.
- Monitor ongoing cases and conduct follow-ups where required.
- Collaborate with external agencies and community partners to support clients' needs.
- Prepare reports, statistics, and programme-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide administrative support for financial assistance programmes and related initiatives.
Requirements

- Diploma qualification in any discipline.
- Relevant experience in case management, financial assistance administration, social services, community work, or customer service is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

- Professional and discreet in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
